Last week, we celebrated God’s faithfulness—how His love endures forever.

SETUP: Why Waiting Hurts

I’m going to speak for myself. I. hate. waiting.

• I hate waiting in traffic when I’m already running behind.
• I hate waiting on hold for customer service when the music loops for the 7th time.
• I hate waiting in the grocery store when the person in front of me at self-checkout clearly needs an employee-assisted checkout.
• I hate waiting for a text back from my kids—especially when I know they’ve got their phone in their hand.

Because waiting feels like wasting.

• It feels like nothing’s happening.
• It feels like I’m stuck.
