INTRO

Good morning!

We’ve been in a season of resurrection…

• Resurrection isn’t just about what gets revived—it’s about what gets released.
• Last week, we talked about a faith that lasts—how all of us have received a portion of faith that has been passed down from people who go before us—going back thousands and thousands of years—and that their a faith that shaped our future
• And it had a conclusion—that our faith doesn’t just impact us. It impacts the generation that comes after us.
• The big concept was that faith isn’t just something you hold onto in your mind and it certainly shouldn’t end with you—it’s something you plant forward.

Today we’re celebrating our Elevated Grads. Graduation season isn’t just a celebration—it’s a sending.

It’s not just a finish line—it’s a launchpad into further schooling from some, or training, or into their vocation.

God doesn’t just raise you to bless you—He raises you to send you And what you sow now grows next

So today, we’re talking about: “Seeds for the Next Season.”

Text: Galatians 6:7

Paul is writing to a group of believers in Galatia—a church that had started strong in faith, but over time began to drift.

• False teachers crept in and convinced them that righteousness could be earned through religious performance—through works of the law, through rule-keeping, through external effort.
• Paul steps in to correct them—not just doctrinally, but pastorally.
• He reminds them that the Christian life isn’t about impressing God—it’s about walking with Him.

And then he uses a farming metaphor they would all understand:

Galatians 6:7–9 (NLT): You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
